YATE
Yate, which stands for Yet Another Telephony Engine, is a product of a Null Team, from Romania.
It is mostly known for its C++ codebase, strong commitment to using regular expressions in its
configuration files, and what's most important - great performance and stability, especially in
respect to the SIP and H.323 throughput. But there is much more about Yate than this - it has
many fantastic features, runs very much every popular VoIP protocol, and the company behind Yate
is very friendly and helpful.
Yate can be very well the biggest contender for the second place in the open source telephony
market segment, behind the undisputed leader Asterisk in respect to installation base, but it
certainly has some features, that distinguish it from the rest of the crowd, which are both unique
and innovative.
If you have a project that requires great performance and stability, you should definitely consider
Yate.
In case you'd need help with your projected or existing Yate instances, we're here to help. We have
deep knowledge of Yate's configurations, optimization, and internal structures. Just contact us.
