Troubleshooting
During the OST Troubleshooting course, the participants will have the chance to learn about the common
problems met in the area of open source telephony engines, how to diagnose them, understand their source
and learn how to mitigate them. The participants will also learn about techniques and tools developed to
help deal with the most common problems automatically or quasi automatically.
Hands on training will allow
participants to learn not only about the theory, but also check their newly aquired knowledge in practice.
The natural continuation of this training is the OST Best practices training, where participants will learn
how to build OST based systems and solutions with ease of trobuleshooting in mind.
Duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: At least basic, preferrably good knowledge of IP and VoIP protocols, at least basic,
preferrably good unix skills, knowledge of traditional telephony and VoIP experience a plus.
